A Quick Update
So ... I am just surfacing long enough to share that we had some more one year portraits done at Portrait Innovations. I must say - the experience was a helluva lot more pleasant than the one at Picture People was AND it was way cheaper ... though I don't think the photos were as artistic as the ones at Picture People were. BUT they did give me the CD AND they gave me like a million pictures. I think there are about 150 photos on that CD. The best pictures were the family ones and the ones of Mr. Tranny Head and Sumo ... but because Mr. Tranny Head, like me, wears a white box on his head when he goes out, I thought you might enjoy seeing the ones of just Sumo more. So - without further ado - behold!

I'm glad there wasn't drama this time around, although I have to agree the first set caught more of his personality. No matter, though, when a kid is that cute, there's no such thing as a bad photo. The last one kicks ass!
I do not like that last photo. As awesome as it is and all that, it makes him look way older than he should be.
And that curly mohawk? Rawks.
Love them--especially the shot of him standing, looking like he's goin' down :)
That's too much cute for one post. And, I think the white background is my only problem. He POPS out in the last picture the most.
I can't show those to Eleanor. I'm afraid she would get all verklempt. Her dream is to find a boy who could appreciate the fat rolls on her thighs. The preppy clothes make me swoon too.
In that last one, he looks as though he's preparing to make an executive decision.

And geesh I am SHOCKED you surfaced. So in about 3 weeks are we going to be seeing pics of a nice positive test?????

OMG that last pic makes me laugh! It reminds me of a real estate agent's pic. But Sumo is 100% cuter than any real estate agent photo I'VE ever seen!!
I have to agree with April. In some ways he also looks like one of those billboards for starving children. Only he is dressed too nicely!

In the last photo I believe he may be thinking to himself - "Why do my parents wear white boxes on their heads?"
Sumo looks so sweet! I love the curly hair! My husand would have a fit...might even fly home from iraq to kill me for dressing the boys in sweaters though. He's such a hick, that husband of mine! I love the outfit!
We have to use dark backgrounds with our family because the blonde hair and fair skin gets washed out and lost on the light backgrounds.
Too adorable! He looks like a little, or rather big, doll!
You get 100 extra bonus points for getting out of bed, getting dressed and having family photos taken. But I'm glad you did...that last one gives you a peek into what a little man he will be!

He must be very good natured, because a lot of babies that age would be poopy acting after wardrobe changes several times. He looks happy to be there!
