And in honor of that hawtness I give you 16 MORE fun facts about the larger-than-life Sumo.
1. Sumo now says so many words I have long since lost track of how many words he can say. He won't shut up. But in a good way.
2. A few of the newly favorite words include "football" (which sounds like buttball), and "Elmo" (which sounds like elbow). Note to self: work on annunciation.
3. He is obsessed with his new regulation-sized football. But he is also showing an interest in basketball and pretends to dribble and shoot every time it comes on TV.
4. He has learned how to take off his pants. Thankfully, the diaper has not come off yet, but I figure it's only a matter of time. And when that happens, I feel certain that we'll be kicked out of Mommy & Me class once and for all.
5. Some 3 year old hit him on the playground, today. And he laughed at that kid. Then he hit the kid with a joyful look as though it was a game. And the kid fell down. And he cried. It was hawt.
6. He really likes that Christmas commercial with the Hershey kisses - you know - the one where they turn into bells? He always stops, watches, and then dances around when it comes on.
7. He can point to most of his body parts when asked to, now. It's always fun to tell him to point to his eye because then he jams his hand into it so hard I wonder if it's going to pop out and roll across the floor.
8. And yet somehow despite the fact that he knows here his ears and eyes are, when he wants you to play "peek-a-boo" he still covers his ears instead of his eyes. It's hawt.
9. As soon as I put him in the car, he takes off his shoes and socks. It makes Granilla crazy because she's one of those people who is convinced that cold feet will somehow lead to the bubonic plague for toddlers. BWAHAHAHA! (Aside - I will NEVER be one of those moms who forces socks on her child.)
10. He now throws food that he doesn't want to eat off of his highchair tray and onto the floor. (Yes, believe it or not, he actually DOES turn down some food items. Generally when he's full and doesn't want to eat more.) Instead of moving her rug, Granilla has brought in a giant tarp. It's like feeding time at the zoo. Hawt!
11. We listen to grown up music because I hate children's music. He likes CCR.
12. He still loves everybody and still has never done that shy "hiding head in mom's skirt" thing. I wish he were more discerning when he gives the morbidly obese and diseased-looking guy in Wal-Mart the "PLEASE COME RUB MY CURLS" look.
13. He cackles when he laughs really hard.
14. He gives out LOTS of kisses and now knows how to blow kisses. Every time we see that "Elmo Live" thing in the store that blows him a kiss he returns the favor.
15. He's so cute that sometimes it makes me almost bleed from the eyes to look at him.
16. He's totally hawt.

Too cute. I also have to be cautious about asking my son to show me or anyone else an eye. Mine calls Elmo, Melmo. I love the way they pronounce things.
He is too stinkin' cute! And yeah for disliking children's music . . . my mother-in-law is beyond devestated that my kids look at her like she is on crack when she sings "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" but will instantly start rocking out when Michael Fronte and Spearhead comes on. (And that's why my kids are hawt!)
Sumo is just too cute for words.
You have a whole lot to be thankful for tomorrow!
He is so freaking adorable and doing such great things. He is totally a supergenius!!
Clearly he's a language genius! I loved listing all my kids words and showing off. :)
obviously he is a baby of fine breeding and brillance.
and hawt.
My eyes! My eyes!! They are bleeding from his cuteness!! Seriously - your boy is adorable. Love the curls! My son calls Elmo "melmo". haha! Have a great Thanksgiving!
I LOVE that he hit the kid back after laughing at being hit himself. That IS totally HAWT.
He is totally hawt. And he's a bad ass in the red wagon.
The Howler, at 16 months, loved all her daddy's music choices--except for Motorhead. Motorhead wigged her out. Most children's music sucks.
Sumo is absolutely wonderful (and if he likes CCR, he's got good instincts, too. Relax about the greasy guy at WalMart.)
How cute!! Happy 16 months, Sumo!!
I do not ask Matty about "eyes"... because he comes after MINE when I tell him to show me "his" eye. I fear losing my eyes when that kid is around. lol
You are in SO much trouble 12 years from now! :) Bwahahahaha!
He is absolutely the hawtest thing! What a darling.
I love that photo of him at the park it is way Hawt.
Like brittany my girl tries to poke my eyes out.
Mine never keeps the shoes and socks on either and like you I don't push it, and it is cold here. I try and have them on to and from the car to make it look good.
Oh, man, have I missed any Mommy and Me stories lately? I LOVE those.
Happy 16th month of life on earth, Sumo.
Mack HATES HATES HATES socks and shoes and never wears them. We get the stink eye from other mothers who think I'm killing my child by allowing him outside without anything on his feet.
Sumo? SO FREAKIN' CUTE.
What a cutie! HJ also pokes herself in the eye....hysterical!
Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving!
OMG! He is ADORABLE! Very HAWT.
I love that last shot.
And i agree with him the Hershey commercial is awesome.
He is awesomely adorable!
Love those cheeks!
And Cooper just started doing the "shy" thing...except that he does it to people he knows. He gapes at new people.
